Founded in 1818, Wesley Chapel has been faithfully serving the Florence, AL community for over 200 years. With a strong foundation in faith, we emphasize “Where we come from to where we are going”, honoring our rich history while looking ahead to a future guided by God’s purpose.

Along with food, you will find a basket of Prayer Rocks inside the box. Every rock has been prayed over and hand-decorated by a member of Wesley Chapel. We hope you will take one home as a reminder that God is your solid foundation, He loves you deeply, and that our church is praying for our neighbors every day.

Each month, we highlight a ministry that showcases how God is working through our church and congregation.
This month’s featured ministry: Cemetery Ministry
The first cemetery burial at Wesley Chapel was in 1819. Since then leadership in Wesley Chapel and the community have cared for families during the most difficult times of their lives. They have helped lay to rest and care for the final resting place of the world remains of 100’s of individuals. This month we recognize and give thanks to those who serve our community through this ministry
